Telluride Ski Resort is one of the most well-known ski resorts in Colorado. Initially, the city of Telluride was a mining town until the year of 1953 when it became a ghost town after the mines were shut down. It was a ghost town until the 1970’s, when Joe Zoline restored the town to make it Telluride Ski Resort.
